About Us

Welcome to Inner West Community Energy, an independent community group formed by local people, keen to promote energy efficiency and solar energy in Sydney’s Inner West.

We provide practical advice and solutions for individuals, businesses and community organizations who would like to install solar systems. Solar electricity is clean, it’s good for the climate, it promotes local jobs and it saves people money.

Our goal is to facilitate investments in community solar projects in the Inner West of Sydney and to support national community action on solar energy. We are also interested in finding ways to make solar more accessible to households on fixed or low incomes irrespective of whether they are a home-owner or a tenant.
