We’re heading to Burwood for our next Solar Information Night! And we’re running the event in association with the State member for Strathfield, Jason Yat-Sen Li.

If you live in Burwood, Strathfield, Croydon, Enmore or surrounds and have always wanted to install rooftop solar at your house but don’t know where to start, this event is for you.

“I’m delighted to be supporting Inner West Community Energy in hosting Burwood’s first Solar Information Night,” Jason says. “As we confront a climate crisis and a cost of living crisis, solar energy can be both environmentally-friendly and economical. Come along on 10 April to hear from leaders in solar energy and how this can help in your home and community.”

We’ll be at Club Burwood in Burwood Rd, starting at 6pm for an event that will run for a little over an hour.

It’ll be our usual friendly format: a welcome from Jason, an introduction to Inner West Community Energy, an overview of how we can help you install quality solar at your house or small business, then it’ll be over to you to ask as many questions as time permits

. One of our preferred solar installers, one of Sydney’s most experienced, will be there to answer your questions.

Questions like: “My house is in a council conservation zone: can I install solar?”, “What’s the difference between a string array and a microinverter?”, “Do solar panels need maintenance?”, “Are there some roof types that aren’t suitable for solar panels?”, “What brands of panels do you recommend?”, “Are batteries worthwhile?”, “How much does quality solar cost?”

Inner West Community Energy is a six-year old community not-for-profit group that works to increase the uptake of solar energy in Sydney’s Inner West..

The Solar Information Night will start at 6pm sharp and run till about 730. We’ll provide a little finger food to keep our energy levels up. .

It’s a free event but numbers are limited – please book here via Humanitix.
